The MSI Codex Z2C gaming PC is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F CPU, GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. The Ryzen 7 8700F is an 8-core, 16-thread processor with a max boost clock of 5.1GHz. It’s not the fastest or newest AMD CPU, but it’s still a solid gaming CPU that won’t bottleneck the GPU, especially at the higher resolutions you should be playing at if you own a 5070 Ti. The GeForce RTX 5070 is the best Nvidia card for 1080p and 1440p gaming and by itself this card retails for $600 (although generally it’s higher these days). It’s also powerful enough to run most games at 4K, although at that point you’ll see noticeable gains jumping up to a 5070 Ti. Compared to the previous generation GPUs, the RTX 5070 offers a slight performance improvement over the RTX 4070 Super, which was and still is an excellent GPU.
