It feels like a while ago that Assassin\u2019s Creed: Shadows<\/u><\/a> launched at the start of the year, and Ubisoft\u2019s latest entry into the RPG side of its long-running franchise finally whisked players to the Japan setting they craved.<\/p>\n

While sales data remains unclear<\/u><\/a>, there\u2019s no denying the game\u2019s scale and the size of its open world, and if you\u2019ve been on the fence, then we\u2019ve got good news – you can get it for up to half off in Amazon\u2019s Black Friday deals<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Assassin\u2019s Creed: Shadows Is Up To 50% Off<\/h2>\n

PS5 fans are the winners here, because they can pick up the game for a little less than Xbox Series X players. If you\u2019re on Sony\u2019s console, it\u2019s just $34.99, whereas it\u2019ll set you back $39.99 on Xbox – saving you 50% or 43% respectively.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Whichever version you buy, you get the advantage of an Amazon Exclusive character pack for Naoe, one of the game\u2019s protagonists (more on that in a moment). It includes legendary gear, weapons, a mount, and a trinket to use in-game.<\/p>\n

The big shift this time around is the split between Naoe and Yasuke, with the former offering the stealthy, nimble Assassin\u2019s Creed gameplay you\u2019d expect from the franchise\u2019s earlier entries, while the latter complements that with a hard-hitting, combat-focused approach.<\/p>\n

In our review<\/u><\/a>, Jarrett Green awarded the game an 8 out of 10 and said, \u201cBy sharpening the edges of its existing systems, Assassin\u2019s Creed Shadows creates one of the best versions of the open-world style it\u2019s been honing for the last decade.\u201d<\/p>\n

The game\u2019s Claws of Awaji expansion launched in September of this year, and Shadows is slated to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in December<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n
