It\u2019s due out summer 2026. Of course, given the speculation around Leon also being a playable character in Resident Evil Requiem, fans are wondering if a Leon amiibo is also in the works.<\/p>\n<section data-transform=\"image-with-caption\" data-image-url=\"https:\/\/assets-prd.ignimgs.com\/2025\/10\/30\/n3-1761823278017.jpg\" data-image-title=\"null\" data-image-class=\"article-image-full-size\" data-image-link=\"https:\/\/assets-prd.ignimgs.com\/2025\/10\/30\/n3-1761823278017.jpg\" data-caption=\"Grace%20will%20be%20the%20first%20ever%20Resident%20Evil%20amiibo.%20Image%20credit%3A%20Capcom.\"><\/section>\n<p>It\u2019s a big day for Resident Evil Requiem announcements. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/resident-evil-requiem-deluxe-edition-includes-lady-dimitrescu-costume-for-grace-preorders-get-apocalypse-costume\">Preorders are now live, and we have confirmation of the in-game bonuses for the Deluxe Edition<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As we\u2019ve said, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/resident-evil-requiem-developers-are-still-being-coy-about-leon-kennedy\"><u>there is a a huge amount of speculation about Leon being a playable character alongside Grace in Resident Evil Requiem<\/u><\/a>, but there\u2019s no official mention of Leon in today\u2019s announcements.
