{"id":5791,"date":"2024-11-19T11:30:13","date_gmt":"2024-11-19T11:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldclassservers.net\/blog\/2024\/11\/19\/ea-investigating-star-wars-jedi-survivor-issues-on-playstation-5-pro\/"},"modified":"2024-11-19T11:30:13","modified_gmt":"2024-11-19T11:30:13","slug":"ea-investigating-star-wars-jedi-survivor-issues-on-playstation-5-pro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/nextlevelnews.co.uk\/blog\/2024\/11\/19\/ea-investigating-star-wars-jedi-survivor-issues-on-playstation-5-pro\/","title":{"rendered":"EA Investigating Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Issues on PlayStation 5 Pro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EA is currently investigating issues with the PlayStation 5 Pro version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor but fell short of revealing when fans who spent $699.99 on Sony&#8217;s latest console can expect a fix.<\/p>\n<p>Following reports yesterday that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/silent-hill-2-call-of-duty-black-ops-6-and-star-wars-jedi-survivor-among-several-games-with-ps5-pro-issues\">Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was one of several games with issues on PS5 Pro<\/a>, alongside the likes of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Silent Hill 2, and Alan Wake 2, EA has confirmed it is at least aware of the issue.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019re aware of issues with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PlayStation 5 Pro and are actively investigating,&#8221; it said on <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EAStarWars\/status\/1858635462577172846?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">X\/Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cb9iM1N9Bz8&amp;t=406s&amp;ab_channel=DigitalFoundry\">Digital Foundry<\/a> discovered what it called &#8220;severe image quality problems&#8221; in the PS5 Pro version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. &#8220;There are severe image quality concerns when elements like foliage interact with ray tracing,&#8221; it said. &#8220;The end result is a strobing image quality downgrade that makes this Pro patch difficult to recommend.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The PS5 Pro arrived November 7 as Sony&#8217;s now standard mid-generation upgrade. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/call-of-duty-black-ops-6-among-over-50-ps5-pro-enhanced-games-confirmed-by-sony-to-be-ready-for-launch\">More than 50 games received PS5 Pro specific patches<\/a> upon its launch but, as this list includes Alan Wake 2 and Black Ops 6 among others receiving complaints, it&#8217;s worth proceeding with caution.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ign.com\/articles\/playstation-5-pro-review\">In our 7\/10 review of the PS5 Pro<\/a>, IGN said: &#8220;The PlayStation 5 Pro is an impressive console with noticeable boosts in performance and graphics for games that take advantage of its powerful hardware.
